Put cinnamon sticks and cloves in a cheesecloth bag. Make a syrup of the vinegar and sugar. Boil for 5 minutes. Add spick bag. Add peaches. Cook until tender. Remove from heat and let stand overnight. Pack peaches in jars. Bring syrup to a boil and boil until thick as honey. Top jars off with syrup. 1/2 bushel equals 2 1/2 cookings 1 bushel equals 36 pints
