- Limited access scallop vessels fishing under scallop DAS are not
under any trip limit, though there are sometimes exceptions (for
instance, the 1999 GB Sea Scallop Exemption Program).
- If you either:
- Have a limited access permit but are NOT fishing under scallop
DAS, or
- Have a General scallop permit,
you can retain up to 400 pounds of meats per trip (no matter how
long the trip is).
- If you have no scallop permit at all, you're limited to 40 pounds
of meats per trip.
